Entry for 09 April 2006 Margate "Eye"

It was nice to see the return of a Big Wheel to Margate (although, I believe this is only temporary for the spring/summer season). It really is quite an imposing landmark on the sea front and looks about to roll onto the beach! Coming home from work at midnight the other night, it looked even more impressive lit up. With the ongoing debate about what will happen to Dreamland, there is no knowing whether something like this will be gone forever in a few years time. I'm not a big fan of funfairs (kid roundabout in the park makes me feel dizzy and sick), however, it would be a shame to see the end of Margate's main attraction.

Its been a good Sunday. I spent a short time shooting video on the mini DV cam of Craig and his pals. Just fooling around really.
