Audacious demand!

I could not believe what I received in the mail today.

You may remember the dispute I had with Talk Talk/Carphone Warehouse a few weeks ago when they cut off my internet connection. Well...... I thought it was all done and dusted now that I've migrated away from them. It turns out that not only did they decided to send me a bill of internet connection for the last 2 months despite canceling the service (its out of contract anyway), a day later (today) a got a further bill from they debt collectors for the outstanding amount. To put it mildly, I went ballistic having to yet again phone them. To make matters worse, I've had to send proof that I don't owe them anything. I wonder how many people just end up paying bills like this? My cynical side suspects this is done deliberately on the off chance people will pay without checking, or feel intimidated by demands.

I can't wait for a bit of time off work now. I feeling a bit weary now. Leave is overdue for me. I've only got next week to get through, then I'm off till almost the end of the month. The trip to Germany should wipe away a few cobwebs too.

Anyhow, I'm hoping all will be a bit more relaxed shortly. The weather has been good in the UK this week and I'm hoping it continues.
